Bollywood celebrities are Coming Forward to Extend Their Helping Hand
Bollywood celebrities have come forward to extend their helping hands. Akshay Kumar has donated 25 crores. In his tweet, he said ” I will contribute Rs 25 crore” He further quoted.
”This is that time when all that matters in the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to Narendra Modiji’s PM CARES FUND. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai to Jahaan hai, ” Akshay Kumar tweeted. Making a chain ahead, varun Dhawan also stood high by contributing Rs 30 lakh. Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas have funded to the noble cause of daily wage labourers and their families during the testing time of COVID-19 lockdown.
Prabhas who is famous as Baahubali has also contributed Rs 3 crore to the PM CARES FUND.
Famous comedian Kapil Sharma has vowed to donate Rs 50 lakh to the relief fund to fight against Corona. The head of film studio T- Series has said that he will donate Rs. 11 crore, TV host and actor Maniesh Paul has said that he will donate Rs 20 lakh, Murad Khaitani who is the producer of the famous movie Kabir Singh has also pledged to contribute Rs 1 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relief fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister Relief Fund.
Sportspersons are Contributing
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has made up his mind to donate 25 lakh to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Suresh Raina has also contributed 52 lakh while Rohit Sharma has donated 80 lakh. BJP MP and former cricketer Goutam Gambhir have said that he will donate his two years’ salary to PM CARES FUND.
Mukesh,Tata, Adani Decide to Donate
Gautam Adani announced Rs 100 crore through his group’s along with Tata Group, Reliance industries, and other corporates. Meanwhile, Tata Sons and Tata Trusts have announced to aid 1500 crore.
Additionally, business giant Mukesh Ambani decides to produce 1 lakh masks per day, free meals to needy people and free fuel to emergency vehicles carrying the coronavirus patients. Kotak Mahindra Bank will donate Rs 25 crore to the PM Cares Fund.
